Welcoming Mitchell Paisker from Anchorage, Alaska to the show. We talk about his journey chasing anything that bites, to learning new techniques, and his interesting work journey. We had a blast chatting about all things fly fishing .

"I currently live in Alaska and work for the USFWS as a crew lead on a sockeye salmon monitoring project looking at spawning habitat, return rates and spawning frequency. My job history ranges from serving tables and slinging drinks at the bar to capturing and studying black bears, collared pika and various shorebirds, but one thing that’s steady and unwavering in my life is my passion and pursuit of fishing.  When I’m. It working I am on the river somewhere or tying flies or orchestrating my next trip. I’m a fish bum at heart and I live a life surrounded by feathers and fur. The water is my peaceful place where I go in hopes of shaking hands with a few fish and getting close with nature. "
