On this episode we sit down with Kenzie Kozera to chat about his life journey.
Born and raised in Cape Breton, NS, Kenzie grew up targeting multiple species of trout with spinning gear. It was in his mid 20s that he decided to dive into the world of fly fishing. After a couple seasons of chasing sea run trout, Kenzie entered into a life long obsession, the pursuit of Atlantic salmon. Soon after encountering his first salmon, Kenzie developed an interest in fly tying. Nearly 5 years later and Kenzie has become a commercial fly tyer with a focus on Atlantic salmon and steelhead hairwings, scandi style tubes, and spey style flies.
Most recently, Kenzie has begun to share his thoughts regarding angling and tying through a blog, Feathers to Iron, Words to Paper. Kenzie hopes to continue to connect with members of the angling community through this new project.
