Description

Meet Shawn Wildermuth from Atlanta Georgia. Survivor. Author.Filmmaker.
He was abused at 6, then again at 13 by his older brother. He believes that if you can break that seal of silence, by talking about what happened, it will make a difference to your whole life. He also encourages survivors to trust their instinct.
He makes films that reflect his own experiences and tackle issues that need to be brought out of the shadows. His film “Don't Worry, I'm Fine” brings the brave stories of recovery to this film, including his own story. Most of his life he's been a teacher and author, and over the last eight years have transitioned to film. This is his second feature-length documentary, the first being Hello World Film: https://helloworldfilm.com. You can reach Shawn on
