In this episode of Wings Podcast we meet Kiran Wadje from Donje, a small village located at the base of Sinhgad fort near Pune city. Born in a family of farmers, Kiran had the courage to break stereotypes associated with rural India where a girl child is expected to drop out of education to get married and bear children. She not only completed her school education with flying colours but went on to do her Master’s in Statistics. Today, Kiran proudly works as a Test Lead in a multinational statistical software development and research organisation. Thanks to her childhood spent in the mountains, Kiran likes trekking, participating in marathons and has recently taken a liking to Zumba.
