Rejection can feel like a sucker punch coming from a customer, but don't despair too much: rejection is an inherent part of the human experience!

Taking rejection gracefully and confidently can help you maintain relationships with your customers in the long term, rather than souring them completely. Whenever you hear that dreaded word "no" - stay composed and polite in your response. Show empathy to the rejection, because behind it lies an obstacle which needs to be navigated. 

By being understanding and not taking rejection too harshly yourself, your customers will see it as a collaborative effort rather than completely closing down communication.
