Episode 78. The holidays can often come with overwhelm and disappointment. In this episode, I’m breaking down how you can experience the holidays with more joy and energy.
- What does your perfect holiday look like?
- Identify the feelings that come up the most in your perfect holiday.
- Make a list of all of the activities and ways you can access the feelings you identified.
- Make a plan to do these things
- Check in with your energy to see if the plan still feels good and adjust as needed.
- Set boundaries around what your perfect holiday looks like. I.e. don’t go to that dinner or party, stay home, ask for people to pitch in, etc.
- Practice mindfulness and be present.
