Episode 78. The holidays can often come with overwhelm and disappointment. In this episode, I’m breaking down how you can experience the holidays with more joy and energy. 

  1. What does your perfect holiday look like?
  2. Identify the feelings that come up the most in your perfect holiday.
  3. Make a list of all of the activities and ways you can access the feelings you identified. 
  4. Make a plan to do these things
  5. Check in with your energy to see if the plan still feels good and adjust as needed. 
  6. Set boundaries around what your perfect holiday looks like. I.e. don’t go to that dinner or party, stay home, ask for people to pitch in, etc. 
  7. Practice mindfulness and be present.
