We were on a mastermind call last week where everybody has achieved multi-million dollars. We are in a group of multimillionaires just hanging out and talking about different things. It was a surreal moment of how we became multimillionaires of assets, not cash. It's usually when you make money that is tied up in businesses and the cash flow that you have is being poured into the business to support the asset. So you never ever feel like you've done anything. How did this happen? Because we had millionaires in our circles and we are surrounded by the people who are all chasing this dream of freedom through passive income.

When we made our first million dollars, we freaked out. We did not realize it was happening. Even if you don't realize what you've accomplished, you should look back at how far you've come. And this ties into this episode of networking. When we were on a networking call for millionaires we came to the realization that we deserve to be in that group. We encircled ourselves with a group of people who were on our journey. Some were experiencing the same struggle. And there's something really incredible and powerful about being able to share your struggles with other people with the same journey because they can relate and they can help you. A second subgroup of networkers were the people who achieved that for which we were aiming. This subset of participants were very successful multi-millionaires. Even though we knew we deserved to be part of the group, we felt like the little guy in the room. And it is surreal that we are able to realize that we were able to take that step. How did we take that step? We kept on surrounding ourselves with people 10 steps ahead of us.
