When buying a multi-family property you want to cover your bases and go through a list of financial, physical and operational due diligence items. It's a very thorough detail of all the things that you want to be double checking to make sure that you know the information that you received when you underwrote the deal and decided it was a good deal is actually accurate going in before you close.
