Description

Mindful hiking can be accomplished in 7 simple steps, and is a great way to release anxiety and reconnect with your internal compass.

There was a time when I only hiked or ran local trails for fitness for my longer endurance adventures or races.

But now, I intentionally do easier, shorter, more mindful hikes each week. I do it because it calms my nervous system down. If I'm feeling tense, stressed, upset, or anxious, I head to parks close by and get my nature fix.
