For the first episode in October, we kick off the spooky season off with one of the scariest things ever, the finance world. I reviewed a new bio pic that goes over the game stop stock trading trend over the pandemic in 2020. Filled with a lot of favorite celebritie, Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, Pete Davidson, and Nick Offerman. I invite David McCray to help me review this great biopic. We also reviewed the 2015 biopic, The Big Short. Which recaps the events of the housing market crash in 2005-2008.
Dumb Money. Directed by Craig Gillespie. Dumb Money is the ultimate David vs. Goliath tale, based on the insane true story of everyday people who flipped the script on Wall Street and got rich by turning GameStop (the video game store) into the world's hottest company.
The Big Short (2015). Directed by Adam McKay. In 2006-2007 a group of investors bet against the United States mortgage market. In their research, they discover how flawed and corrupt the market is.
