On this week's episode, I review Jennifer Lawrence's newest comedy, No Hard Feelings. I had on this week for the very first time, Meagan Wise. We broke down the chemistry, plot line, casting, and soundtrack. For our throwback movie, we watched Jonah Hill's Netflix original movie, You People. A film that has a lot of our funniest celebrities and an impactful story line.
No Hard Feelings. Directed by Gene Stupnitsky. On the brink of losing her home, Maddie finds an intriguing job listing: helicopter parents looking for someone to bring their introverted 19-year-old son out of his shell before college. She has one summer to make him a man or die trying.
You People (2023). Directed by Kenya Barris. Follows a new couple and their families, who find themselves examining modern love and family dynamics amidst clashing cultures, societal expectations and generational differences.
