On this weeks segment of Open Tabs, I am joined by recurring guest Fernando Jimenez. We sit down to enjoy a nice tequila bottle and review some early 2000's classic dance movies: You got served and Step Up. We relive our childhoods by watching some of our favorite movies growing up and see how much a difference our perspective have changed.
You got served (2004) Directed by Chris Stokes. In order to achieve their dream of opening a recording studio, two friends (Omarion, Houston) must first win their city's dance contest -- a fierce competition that pits them against a group of tough street dancers.
Step Up (2006) Directed by Anne Fletcher. Tyler Gage receives the opportunity of a lifetime after vandalizing a performing arts school, gaining him the chance to earn a scholarship and dance with an up and coming dancer, Nora.
