This week on The Floptimists, we discuss the 2014 action, adventure, fantasy movie, Mythica: A Quest for Heroes. Written and directed by Anne K. Black, the movie tells a story of a fledgling magician, Marek and a rag tag band of adventurers who set out in search of a kidnapped magician, who possesses a powerful stone.
Mythica certainly takes it queue's from other majorly successful fantasy franchises, however, still manages to have it's own charm and identity. If you've ever wondered if Ogre's could fall in love, then this is the movie for you. We break down the special effects, music, set design and aesthetic and much more!
