Today's episode might be a bit controversial but I would love to hear what you think and open the door for conversation around this topic. When I started by company, I made a conscious decision for my podcast, my community, and my platform to offer support specific law enforcement officers and their families. I have been questioned and challenged on this several times and this episode will explain my decision.
For starters, I am the daughter niece, and cousin of police officers. My brother is a nurse but I am otherwise not acquainted or connected with other first or second responders. Therefore, law enforcement life is what I know. Additionally, law enforcement has their own set of nuances to navigate than even other first responders don't necessarily experience.
There is no doubt that all first and second responders need support and resources and share many challenges due to the nature of their fields. Luckily, there are several of those and I am happy to provide the information for several that I trust to anyone who needs it.
