Bryan McCauley is a Marine Corps Veteran; he was a Montgomery County and Transit Police Officer in Pennsylvania and he is now the Program Coordinator for FRAT (First Responder Addictions Treatment) at Livengrin Foundation, a drug and alcohol treatment center in the Philadelphia area. FRAT is dedicated to helping former police, fire and EMS workers as well as veterans, among others.
On this episode, Bryan and I talk about peer support, the devastating suicide rates among police officers, and the important of self-care and mental health care – as well as why the “tough guy” attitude is detrimental to the people in this profession.
Bryan is very passionate about helping people and has offered his personal contact info for anyone who wishes to speak with him directly.
You can reach Bryan on his cell at 267.228.4466
