I started Pull the Chute out of a passion to help businesses create a culture that is rewarding, supporting and appreciative of their people. As I have said many times before, we believe if you grow your people, you will grow your company. Being a good or even great leader can make that a reality. But what does it mean to be a good leader? One of my favorite podcasts is by Dave Stachowiak called Coaching for Leaders. His tag line is that leaders aren’t born, they're made. I couldn’t agree more. That’s why when I met today’s guest I immediately wanted to interview her for the show. As coaches, we are alway continually learning and morphing. It’s important to stay current on your thinking.
Today’s guest is Aviva Wolmer, Aviva is currently CEO of Empower Leadership and is involved with Vistage Worldwide where she is a Vistage Chair. Vistage is a peer advisory group membership organization for CEOs, business owners and executives of small- to mid-size businesses. Founded in 1957 as The Executive Committee, Vistage now has more than 27,000 members in over 20 countries.
Aviva’s purpose is to enhance the lives of others. She wants to inspire others to become the leaders they can be through helping them to envision their goals and dreams both personal and professional and empowering them with the clarity and accountability they need to achieve those goals and dreams.
Aviva has a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University and a Law Degree from the University of Baltimore Law School.
