- Indication – Anaphylactic reaction
- Contraindication – Acute asthma as Benadryl thickens secretions.
- Side effects – Drowsiness, Dizziness, headache, excitable state, wheezing, thickening bronchial secretions, chest tightness, palpitations, hypotension, blurred vision, dry mouth, N/V, Diarrhea.

- Adult 25-50mg IV/IO/IM
- Pedi 2-12 years – 1-1.25 mg/kg IV/IO/IM
