Episode Summary:
With temptation all around, we can all indulge a little over the holidays. Don’t beat yourself up about it, but also don’t let it completely derail you from your goals. Getting healthy and staying healthy doesn’t require an all-or-nothing, or “cold turkey” approach.
That’s where you get stuck in the weight cycling trap. You’re either “on a diet” (miserable and deprived) or “not on a diet,” (overindulgent, bloated and feeling guilty all the time).
The method I teach is to ADD IN to CROWD OUT. Which means you flip your mindset from a deprivation and stripping away focus, to thinking about all the wonderful, delicious, nourishing foods and activities you can add in.
In this episode, I’ll give you my top four super-easy suggestions for healthy stuff you can add in to crowd out the less-than-healthy. Without feeling deprived or like you’re missing out!
Moderation and consistency are key to getting through the holidays and feeling great in the New Year!
