“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.” Isaiah 6:5
Then Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” John 12:35-36
Isaiah experiences the true awe inspiring majesty of God. He sees the seraphim in God's presence and they have to cover their eyes, how much less is he, he thinks correctly?!
And then, we see how Jesus is patient, kind and loving towards those that don't understand Him and why He's there. It's quite a contrast and shows the nature of God: Inspiring and powerful in heaven and gentle and patient when dealing with us.
