He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Jesus never told us how painful His trials were. He never tried to make us feel bad that He suffered for us. Instead, He let us know that we were adopted into God's family, "I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’
Jesus has also never given us a complicated formula for being saved, those come from us! Instead, we're told to believe in Him and to love God and others! It's a simple message that we complicate. Join me in reading John 20 and be encouraged this Easter day!
