Perspective is critical in life. Without the proper perspective, we don't know how great or awful, big or small or sad or happy something is. It's perspective we need to bring to our walk with God also.
When we think of forgiveness, we need to remember that God's forgiveness of our sins is for the totality of our sins!!! He's wiped our slate clean with the blood of Christ. So, when we need to forgive a person that has harmed us, we need to keep it in perspective. It's only a sliver of what God forgave us!
When we need hope, again, perspective is critical! We are the children of the Creator, who adopted us via the blood of His Son. If He created everything and adopted us, shouldn't we be confident He'll provide for us? Our Hope is in the Creator of all and we call Him Abba Father.
