Abraham was a believer, the father of the faithful, "the man of faith" (Galatians 3:9). "He believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness" (Genesis 15:6). Works follow faith. But Abraham was saved by faith, not by works (Romans 4:2, 3).
We are all saved by faith which is powered by God's Grace. Despite our short comings and failures, God will use and bless us. It isn't always smooth or pretty, but it's a blessing none the less. Join me in reading Genesis 21 and be encouraged!
