Jesus came to disrupt the existing social/religious structure. He was the true disruptor! Powerful people wanted to speak with Him and learn from Him, but they had to approach Him in the dark so they wouldn't be seen and have their current status threatened. What did Jesus do? He met them where they were at. Jesus will meet you and me wherever we are at! We don't need to pretty our lives up, we just need to reach out.
