Mark 6 is packed full:
1. Jesus tries a third time to reach out to His hometown with a similar effect
2. He sends out the 12 to preach, heal and deliver people from demons
3. John the Baptist is beheaded
4. 5000 are fed with 5 loaves and 2 fish
5. Jesus walks on water
So, what are the takeaways from such a full chapter? If we have faith and look to Jesus for support, He'll use us, frail and flawed humans, to do amazing things. The 12 had to rely on God to provide eveything for them and they did miracles. John paved the way for Jesus and was faithful even unto death. Despite the disciples wanting to send the people away, Jesus fed them all when the disciples obeyed.
