A man was asking Jesus to heal his son who was possessed. He'd heard about Jesus healing the sick and casting out demons. This conversation transpired between Jesus and the dad;
"But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.”
“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” Mark 9:22-24
So often, we think we have to be perfect. We have to say the right things, havew our lives together and believe properly, UNTRUE! This father instead, asked Jesus to help him believe! Jesus is here and wants to help us if we'll just ask! Even if we struggle to have the faith of a mustard seed, we just need to ask Him for help and He'll meet us there.
