GIVE ME A SIGN, and then I’ll believe. Give me some sign that Jesus is the Son of God, and then I will gladly become a Christian. I’ll go to church, say my prayers, read my Bible, and do the other things Christians are supposed to do. Just give me a sign. Matthew 12:38
How many more signs does Jesus need to perform to satisfy the Pharisees? The same question can be asked of me, "How many more signs do you need to see before you believe I love you?" Jesus loves us, but I feel I need to keep earning it. He wants us to rest in Him and have peace, but I keep striving to perfect myself. Isn't His sacrifice of the cross enough for me to know He wants me to rest in Him and be at peace? I'm grateful He loves me as I am.
