Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. Matthew 19:8
In chapter 19, Jesus sees the heart of each person. He sees that the Pharisees are trying to trap Him, they aren't interested in who He really is and how He performs the miracles. He sees that the little children are innocent and should be examples of the heart that's right. He also sees that the rich young man is trying to earn his way into heaven, but still has one idol, his wealth. Just as we've read from Genesis to Revelations, God cares about our hearts! So, join me in reading chapter 19 of Matthew and be encouraged!
