AW Tozer writes, "The sovereign God wants to be loved for Himself and honored for Himself, but that is only part of what He wants. The other part is that He wants us to know that when we have Him, we have everything—we have all the rest. Jesus made that plain when He said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Remember the son that stayed home when the other left in the story of the Prodigal Son? He focused on the wrong things and missed out on knowing that all that his father had was available to him. Are we focused on the wrong things? Do we not know that all the Father has is available to us if our hearts are right?
