“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40
I have always liked to have a focus when I begin a new year, season or role and 2023 is no exception. In 2023, I'm focusing on living the above scripture and reading God's word daily is key. We read today in Proverbs 19, "Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge." The Bible is God's instruction to us, so join me in reading it today and be encouraged!
