In Proverbs 22, four verses hit home with me. Some are important reminders of a lesson learned from the past and others provide advice for a peaceful life.
Reminders From the Past -
The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender. Proverbs 22:7
Advice for a Peaceful Life -
Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife; quarrels and insults are ended. Proverbs 22:10
Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, 25 or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared. Proverbs 22:24-25
Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away. Proverbs 22:15
Proverbs is full of applicable advice for today and tomorrow, so join me reading Proverbs 22 and be encouraged!
