Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
According to the ESV study bible, to be anointed is to be set apart by God for special service to him. That means you and me, if we have live for Christ. Psalm 20 is a blessing for you and me. Let's accept and embrace that blessing!
