Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called to the man, “Where are you?” Genesis 3:8-9
God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. Revelation 21:3
The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. Revelation 22:3-5
I find it amazing that God wanted to fellowship with us. He created us to fellowship with Him as is apparent when He's walking in the Garden looking and calling out for Adam and Eve. It's awesome that He knew mankind would fail and He would have to have a plan to make up for our failure, which we see culminating in the book of Revelation! Chapter 21 and 22 it tells us that God will dwell with us and we will see His face! Isn't it amazing that Revelation isn't the end, but the introduction to the beginning?!
