Boone Froggett of Otis is the guest on this week's Bourbon Turntable. Boone has a rich history in music intersecting with Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, The Kentucky Headhunters and others.
Otis has a base Southern Rock sound that stretches across multiple genres. It is a sound and feel that I call The Kentucky Groove. Boone and I talk through their latest single "There's a Break in the Road", the band's last full length album ("Eye of the Sun") and we get a sneak preview discussion on the band's unreleased next single.
Boone also has an inspiring personal story to tell that involves not just the band's survival, but his own, too.
Be sure to follow Otis on social media ( @otisbandofficial) and keep up with everything they have going on. Tour dates are being added and new music is being released all the time.
Thank you, Boone, for being on the show. I love this band's music and talking with Boone was a real blast.
