God
I don’t know at how many
and what odd doors
I had knocked.
I roamed
from door to door,
then a voice told me--
“God was right there--
residing in me;
associated with me
ever since
eternity”.
I don’t know
why I’ve kept wandering all along;
why I haven’t knocked
at my heart.
I don’t really know
for how long
I’ve kept my God
waiting for me.
