About Shelley
As a speaker, Shelley has presented for SXSW (South by Southwest) and TedX. She has also appeared on other podcasts, like Cyber Safe Teen and Healthy Screen Habits. She's a single mom to a ten-year-old, has founded two companies, and loves to dance Argentine Tango.
At Pinwheel, her title is Chief Mom. A significant part of her job is researching the effects of technology on children and sharing that research with the product team and parents. She collaborates with the Digital Wellness Lab (a research organization with Harvard University and Boston Children's Hospital) and with child development experts and therapists.
