Alina Mitchell is a Literary Agent at the MacGregor Luedeke Agency and an author of the biography The Color of Beauty: The Life and Work of New York Fashion Icon Ophelia DeVore, which chronicles the life of her grand-aunt Ophelia DeVore, the 1st Black model in the United States.
She is the co-author of The Holloway Society of Young Detectives in collaboration with Darklight Multimedia Studios. In addition to writing, Alina collaborates with executive leadership at GPA Entertainment in development as co-producer on several film projects for GPA Entertainment, Inc. Alina is also a former K-12 principal and currently an Instructional Designer and Adjunct Professor at the University of San Diego.
