According Romans chapter 11, Paul reveals that God has not rejected the people of Israel and that a chosen remnant awaits to be received by grace alone through Jesus Christ. While great calamity and atrocities have occurred recently in the middle east, the Lord's purpose will be fulfilled and accomplished.
