Getting Rid of the Clutter
This week, I share with you one of the most important lessons I learned during my broken ankle healing journey and, more recently, in the process of packing up to move houses in September. That is, we really don’t need a lot of stuff! Think about all of your things: How many pots and pans do you actually use out of the whole set? How many clothes do you use per season?

Stuff can also refer to information that we seek to advance ourselves. At Apply Yourself, we get rid of the clutter when it comes to your advancement, applying for your programs, and answering all of your questions about applications. What you need is not an excess of information, but guidance from someone who has been there before and knows what it’s like behind the scenes as an admissions committee member. 

What Admissions Committees Are Looking For
While you’re preparing your applications, ask yourself: What information am I consuming? Based on my work with clients, what you need is a step by step plan with lessons and action tasks so you’re completing your applications alongside someone who can answer your questions.
