Description

The Progressive Agenda didn't fare well in yesterday's off-year elections, but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the candidates Democrats ran or the policies they pursue. Election 2015 followed the typical pattern of the last few cycles, where conservatives angered by the progressive victories of the last year were motivated to show up to the polls ... and the people who typically vote for Democrats did not. This is why Republican Matt Bevin won the Kentucky governorship, despite polling that suggested the election would go to his Democratic opponent, Attorney General Jack Conway. And once again, MOMocrats Karoli and Donna Schwartz Mills ask: How do we instill in Democrats the idea that no election is meaningless and that they need to show up and cast votes in them all?Political discussion from a Progressive Point of View by the MOMocrats.
