In this special edition of Fuzzybutts & Friends, it's all about Hudson, Yer Big Dog's Fuzzybutt 3, and Walk 3 for Hudson's Hope.  A bit about him from his Papi:

"Hudson was no bigger than a rolled up hand towel when I rescued him from a farm in Waco TX and once I got him home to Murphy, they immediately became eternal mates.  For Hudson, a big brother.  And for Murphy, a chance to become one after he lost his, Malcolm, six months earlier.

The two became known as the Infamous Fuzzybutts and together we started an incredible adventure still underway that began with our first walk from Austin to Boston for canine cancer awareness. Over 2 years and 2,300 miles on the road together, we became a family and Hudson’s loss last year as the last of the two, devastated me.

Hudson lived to 15 which is a marvel of veterinary medicine since he was a 10 year cancer survivor. I can’t recall how many mast cell tumors we took off him but there were many throughout the years.  Cancer never stopped or slowed down Hudsy from always being entirely himself.

Always sweetly smiling and up to something, Hudson lit up the lives of the thousands of people he met on our travels together.  Oh, but he had his peccadillos and his stubbornness was as famous as his smile.  And as I prepare to walk for him as I have for Malcolm and Murphy, I carry a simple message with me, Hudson was my son and I heart Hudson always."

Of the 6 million new cases of cancer in our canine companions, the vast majority of them remain untreated or receive only palliative care.

We all have a Hudsy and his hope is that every dog with cancer has access to the best care.  The goal of Walk 3 is $100,000 for the Hudson's Hope fund that will give grants for treatment and diagnosis up to $7,500.
