All or nothing thinking is a thought pattern that makes us more prone to negative thoughts or negative conclusions. It's very polarizing. Everything is either good or bad, right or wrong, success or failure, perfect or terrible.
When we give into this type of thinking we are essentially saying that there's really only two options for everything or everyone. Success or failure, good or bad, right or wrong. But in reality most of us spend our time in between those two extremes.
