Ainslee Hooper is an Anthropologist, Disability Inclusion Consultant, Speaker and Author and has her own consulting business, Ainslee Hooper Consulting. Consulting with businesses and organisations in both the public and private sectors. Through her consulting, Ainslee ensures consumers with disabilities are heard, seen and included by helping businesses & organisations identify and remove invisible barriers to disability inclusion. Ainslee has worked on numerous projects with councils, disability service providers, public venues and sustainability services firms. Ainslee is passionate about disability inclusion and combines her unique knowledge of disability with her professional expertise to foster an understanding of experiences, resulting in improved outcomes for all.
Ainslee is a published author having published her first work in the co-authored book 'The Women Changing The World' and has been recognised for the work in her field, receiving the Employment Award in the Geelong Awards for People with Disability in 2020. This award recognises someone who has achieved success or made a substantial contribution to empowering and developing others in the workplace or the community. Ainslee graduated from Deakin University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Anthropology. Ainslee is on the Access & Inclusion Advisory Committee for the City of Greater Geelong, the 'Women and Body Mapping' Research Study Advisory Group, and sits on several NFP Advisory Boards.
Ainslee enjoys working out at the gym in her spare time and competing in Powerlifting & Strongman, with three gold medals under her belt for benchpress. Ainslee currently lives in Geelong, Australia.
