After 8 months of work, BIMCO just released their CII Operations Clause for Time Charter Parties. It puts the responsibility for maintaining agreed upon CII targets on the shoulders of the time charterer. It marks a good starting point for owners and charterers to cooperate and work together as the January 1 implementation date for CII reporting is just around the corner.
