In this month's Patreon episode, we kick off our Harry Potter (re)read with THE SORCERER'S (or Philosopher's) STONE. We are thrilled to be joined by The Third Sister, Ally! Topics include extreme foreshadowing, reminiscing about Potter Puppet Pals, and a dramatic reading of the Chess Scene.

This month's cocktail: Ron's Sacrifice (we used this pumpkin juice recipe as the base)

INGREDIENTS:

• 4 liters apple cider (or apple juice)
• 15 oz pumpkin puree
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
• 2 tsp vanilla
• Vodka, spiced rum, or bourbon 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir well (you may need to put it in a blender to get it really smooth)
2.  Pour into a glass and add 2-3 shots of vodka, bourbon, or spiced rum
