Who would have thought that leadership behaviors can be a powerful way for sales professionals, especially in the B2B area, to significantly increase sales ?

This week I’m talking to Deb Calvert. Deb was a very successful sales trainer and then moved into leadership training as well. It was when she became a Certified Master of The Leadership Challenge that she made a strong connection between leadership behaviors and selling. 

Deb put her idea to the authors of The Leadership Challenge, Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner. 

As a result, Deb, Jim and Barry co-authored the book Stop Selling and Start Leading.

So – selling and leadership. How did this come about ? And is it really effective ?
