Description

This week I’m talking to Diann Grimm who retired after 35 years as a teacher in San Francisco, and considered volunteering at the local library once a week.

Then she had a ‘light-bulb’ moment. Her vision and her leadership-without-a-title started a journey which took her halfway around the world to Nepal. In the past ten years, she has changed the lives of thousands of children who now attend world-class pre-school in Nepal – where pre-school classes didn't exist before.

Diann is a wonderful example of how leaders can change the world – without having a title.

I was so looking forward to talking to Diann because of what she has achieved for over 5,000 children in Nepal. As a mother, I know the value of early childhood development and for children who previously didn't have this opportunity, their ongoing education would be given an enormous boost.
