Matthew (he/him) and Jo (she/they) may have brittle bodies but at least they have a “Heart of Stone.” This week we chart the history and development of Odo’s attraction to Kira, we analyze Nog’s decision to join Starfleet as we pitch a civilian Star Trek show and we spend a little extra time considering how in a society ruled by profit, all creativity and personal interests are cast aside and how that robs us both individually and collectively. Matthew suggests that Miles isn’t necessarily gay or bi, but a secret third thing while Jo claims a pregnant Ensign as canonically transgender.
