Meet Bobby Brazuka
Bobby is a Brazilian-Japanese who first came to Aotearoa as an exchange student in the ’90s.
When he returned to NZ in 99, Bobby started working at the Santos Cafe in Ponsonby, a hip spot where artists and musicians would gather. There, Bobby found inspiration to create his artistic path.
With a DJ career of almost 20 years, Bobby Brazuka has become one of the most famous Brazilian faces in the NZ music and event industry, carving out a niche playing Latin and Latin-inspired music.
Bobby owns the popular Ponsonby Social Club in Auckland, which brings renowned Aotearoa and overseas artists to perform.
