Mark Tugendhaft is a former potter and ardent environmentalist who led the fight against mining in the Coromandel in the 1980s. He's lived in Blue Fridge valley since the 1970s.
Mark Tugendhaft is the legendary potter-turned coffee baron. Originally from New York, Mark came to New Zealand and found his dream life, surfing, creating and living life his own way. Now with 18 awards for his superb 'handmade' roasts, he supplies excellent coffee to Coromandel and beyond.
