Nick was born in Auckland and raised by his grandmother. From an early age, he understood the importance of working hard to live a better life.
Nick’s main job is to drive big trucks, mainly delivering fish in the North Island of NZ. By law, truck drivers can only drive 5.5 hours and then take a break. Nick is very serious about these conditions, but after his shift, he stops unloading trucks and starts to load up his car with speakers, microphones and sound mixers.
Music is a big thing for Nick. He and his partner work as karaoke hosts going all over Auckland and the Coromandel to have fun with people in bars, venues and private parties where knowing how to sing is not as important as wanting to have fun. Family and friends are also in the entertainment industry, which allows them to put big competitions out there that attracts many. One of their main events takes the karaoke winner to a competition in Las Vegas. Fancy!
